Meet Pat, our dedicated and compassionate Minister here at The Mount! With roots in Whiteabbey and a diverse journey of ministry, Pat brings energy, kindness, and a deep commitment to serving both our congregation and the wider community.
Pat’s path to faith and ministry began in South Africa, where he became a believing Christian and was ordained in the Anglican Church. He served as a minister in both the Limpopo Province and Christ Church in Polokwane, before returning to Belfast in 2017. Since then, Pat has worked as a curate at St Patrick’s, engaged in outreach at East Belfast Mission, and now serves here at Mountpottinger while also providing chaplaincy support at Maghaberry Prison.
With a heart for building relationships, Pat is passionate about helping people grow in faith and navigate life’s challenges with hope and purpose. Whether leading worship, offering pastoral care, or lending a hand at community events, Pat’s presence is always uplifting and encouraging.
Beyond the pulpit, Pat loves getting to know people personally and finding ways to make the church a welcoming place for everyone. We’re blessed to have Pat guiding and inspiring us as we share God’s love in East Belfast and beyond!
